Federal Fly-In Season to Begin — Two Opportunities to Engage

MichBio invites Michigan’s bio-industry community to join two upcoming federal legislative fly-ins in Washington, DC, offering direct engagement with policymakers on issues critical to the life sciences.  

The first Fly-In will take place February 23–24 and will focus on medical technology, held under the auspices of AdvaMed’s State Medical Technology Alliance (SMTA).  

The second Fly-In, organized with BIO and the Council of State Bioscience Associations (CSBA), will be held April 14–15 and will address a broader range of biotechnology and life sciences priorities.  

As part of the April fly-in, MichBio will once again host a Michigan Legislative Breakfast Reception for the Michigan Congressional delegation on April 15 from 8:30–10:00 AM.  

Companies, research institutions, and patient advocacy groups are encouraged to participate in these important opportunities to elevate Michigan’s voice and advance shared federal policy priorities.
