Accounting Manager | Grand Rapids, MI

Are you an experienced accounting professional who enjoys leading teams, improving processes, and making an impact beyond the numbers?

Medbio is looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to help lead our accounting operations across multiple manufacturing locations.This is an opportunity for someone who brings strong technical accounting skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for developing people and improving how things get done.

What You'll Do:

• Lead month-end close and financial reporting across multiple sites.
• Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and tooling accounting.
• Partner with operational leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Previous team leadership experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• A self-starter who takes ownership, solves problems, and drives continuous improvement.
