Help Shape MichBio U in 2015

We launched MichBio U this past year to provide additional knowledge and education for our companies in an easy, webinar-based format. Response to our programming was very positive and we hope to build on that foundation going forward.

So help us shape the MichBio curriculum in 2015. Be a speaker and/or suggest a topic!

MichBio U programming focuses on subject matter related but not limited to:

  • operations and organization
  • business development, finance and risk management
  • research and development
  • regulatory affairs and reimbursement strategies
  • legal and intellectual property protection
  • investment and commercialization
  • science and technology
  • public policy

Webinars are 45-60 min in duration and are meant to be educational in nature and not perceived to be infomercials. We endeavor to provide provocative, cutting-edge and in-demand subject matter. All webinars are recorded and available to members in our digital archives.

MichBio will review and evaluate session proposals based on the following criteria:

  • Educational value
  • Topic timeliness
  • Subject matter appeal
  • Appropriate audience type
  • Speaker qualifications and expertise
  • Newsworthiness and novelty

Speakers agree to offer their presentation on a complimentary basis; no presenters are financially reimbursed for their service.

Participation as a speaker/presenter in the MichBio U program is available to MichBio member companies only. A nonmember can partner with a MichBio member on a proposal, provided the member submits the proposal. As always, nonmembers are encouraged to join MichBio and enjoy the benefits of belonging to Michigan’s statewide biosciences industry association.
