Description of Topics:
The webinar will focus on 2 programs managed by the the Institute for Research on Labor, Employment and the Economy (IRLEE) at the University of Michigan and funded by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). The First Customer Program (FCP) helps small businesses obtain assistance with marketing and sales activities such as lead generation and qualification,  web design, etc. The Small Company Innovation Program/ Technology and Commercialization Assistance (SCIP/ TCA) enables Michigan small businesses to work with any of the 15 public univerisities to speed-up product commercialization. Collaborations may include research, testing, prototype design, use of facilities, etc.
