Wood is a large part of Michigan's waste stream that has a dismal rate of recovery, so what are the opportunities?

The workshop will focus on professionally facilitated breakout sessions that are bringing together folks from across sectors with different kinds of wood wastes to search for common solutions and opportunties.  Registered attendees already include Herman Miller, The Right Place, Arauco, Michigan State Univ, Univ of Mich, Michigan Tech, and state agencies including the DNR and DEQ.

Wood residuals comprise a major component of the total waste stream yet has one of the lowest rates of recovery. Meet and network with business members, government leaders, startups and university researchers to forge the real beneficial partnerships to advance the business of wood recycling.
