The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing a public meeting on the reauthorization of the medical device user fee program. The current legislative authority for the medical device user fee program expires on October 1, 2017 and new legislation will be required for FDA to continue collecting user fees for the medical device program.
FDA has published a notice in the Federal Register announcing this public meeting and an open comment period of 30 days. During this time, the public may submit written comments and perspectives about the medical device program.
The public meeting will be held on July 13, 2015 at the FDA White Oak Campus, 10903 New Hampshire Ave., Building 31 Conference Center, the Great Room (Rm. 1503), Silver Spring, MD, 20993.
