Bank of America Merrill Lynch Sponsors MichBio U Series

MichBio is pleased to announce the support of Bank of America Merrill Lynch as exclusive partner for the MichBio U educational series. The generous underwriting comes via the Grand Rapids-based Global Commercial Banking—Healthcare group, headed up by Senior Vice President Richard G. Harte.

MichBio U is a new educational program from MichBio that provides various learning opportunities on a wide range of subjects to Michigan's biosciences community. The program will be delivered via webinars on a monthly basis at a minimum and occasionally may take the form of in-person seminars and/or symposia. The next event, “Regulatory Overview of Early Drug Development” will be presented by Ross Lobell of RegSource Consulting and is set for 10-11 a.m. on May 27 (learn more and register here).

CEO Leaders' Club Announces AlixPartners as Sponsor

The generous support will help ensure that the club series continues to feature the nation’s leading bio-industry executives in a small group format for the benefit of MichBio’s member organizations and their C-level executives.

MedImmune to Sponsor 2nd Annual MichBio Capitol Day Set

The MichBio Capitol Day is scheduled for June 3 in the Rotunda of the State Capitol in Lansing. A dozen or so MichBio member companies and organizations will showcase their products, technologies, and services to legislators and staff. The event is generously supported by MedImmune

On a related note, Clinical Trials Awareness Day is set for June 4, 2014 in the rotunda. Rep. Gail Haines, chairperson of the State House Health Policy Committee and co-chair of the Michigan Biosciences Legislative Caucus is the event’s host. A dozen clinical trials-related organizations and institutions, along with MichBio will be on display.
