Biosciences Legislative Caucus
Overview Breakfast: Biosimilars – NextGen Therapies

Biologic medicines are revolutionizing treatments for patients across many disease states. They are highly complex therapies developed from living organisms. Biosimilar drugs, because they too are created from organic material, can never be exact chemical copies of the original biologic medication.

Learn from Discovering Cures experts about how biologics, their interchangeability and substitution with biosimilars can offer patients access to high-quality, safe, and effective medicines. Hear how transparency in communication and the primacy of the physician-patient relationship are essential to determine appropriate therapies.
