MichBio is a non-profit, statewide trade association, headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI. Formed in 1993 as the Michigan Biosciences Industry Association, MichBio’s mission is to drive life sciences industry growth in Michigan by providing its members with:

• legislative & business advocacy & public awareness efforts
• a hub for life sciences information and comment
• power buying resources.

Its members are life sciences companies, academic and research institutions, bioscience service providers, and related organizations.

MichBio is an affiliate of the Biotechnology Industry Organization, BIO, which represents biotechnology companies across America and in 33 other nations.
